CSA Discoveries

| | Comments (0)

Lisa had a good idea last night, to make a list of all the things we have made using items we received from our CSA share. In particular, it's most interesting to list things we never would have made of our own volition if we hadn't gotten the key ingredients from the CSA. The list so far includes moussaka, ratatouille, beet cake and gumbo, and I'm sure there will be more once Lisa reminds me. I will keep a running list on this page as we go. Lucky us, we're only about halfway through the CSA period, as it keeps going into October! Yesterday, I had to have Lisa pick me up since I couldn't get home the watermelon on my bike. I should really look into those SUBs more. We also got poblano peppers, so we'll have to figure out some Mexican dish to make with those. Let me know if you have any ideas.
