A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway could have been written by me, if I had lived in another time and place (and had actual writing talent). I could definitely see myself as a poor writer sipping coffee in the cafes of Paris, or having drinks with my writer buddies in the bars. Lisa and I would take weekend trips out of the city, and save our money for trips to Spain. But it wasn't written by me, and Hemingway tells a fine story, in his direct and blunt language, while still being vague about actual events. I found it entertaining, and a nice quick read (only 200 pages or so).

Up next, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. I started it this weekend, and I already love it after only 20 pages.

I also have lined up The Poo Bomb by Jeff Vogel. After that, probably the next Stephen King "Dark Tower" book. Then, something by Nick Hornby (A Long Way Down? comes out in June). That takes me through the end of August or so. Suggestions always welcome!
