Roger's Back!

| | Comments (1)

In case you were under a rock this weekend, Roger Clemens confirmed what had long been suspected: he's returning to pitch for the Yankees later this year. I'm not going to say that this will turn their season around, but Roger certainly can't be any worse than what they've been running out to the mound. Kei Igawa? One good game, and then he gives up a 5-0 lead in one inning in his next start. Carl Pavano? Won one start this year before getting hurt. Again. He may miss the rest of the season if he has to have elbow surgery.
Hopefully they will be able to get a good rotation going with Mussina, Wang, Pettitte and Clemens. And soon.
