I Love You, Beth Cooper

My Rating:
I Love You, Beth Cooper

The title of this book is the words uttered by Buffalo Grove's valedictorian during graduation. The problem? Well, he's the valedictorian and she's the head cheerleader. You can see where this is going, and you can probably guess why I enjoyed the book. I'm a sucker for looking back at those years with a mixture of wistfulness and horror. Oh, and did I mention that Buffalo Grove is a suburb of Chicago, just like Naperville, where I went to high school? So yeah, great book. Check it out, if only for the towel whipping scene (not what you'd expect).

Next up is Maxed Out, the book that accompanied the movie by James Scurlock.
