Ellie rolled over!

She's been trying for the past week or so to roll over, and she's come very close, just couldn't figure out how to get that arm out of the way to finish it off. But today, Ellie rolled over for the first time. Lisa actually missed the first one because she was in the bathroom, but Ellie did it again a few minutes later. Hopefully she'll do it again for me later tonight when I get home and we can get it on video. Film at 11!

Update: Ellie is a rolling machine! Not long after I got home, she did it three times in a row. We managed to catch one on video too. It's a bit long and a big download, but well worth it. Check it out.

Santa Visit

Ellie met Santa for the first time today! Thanks to the wonder of digital cameras, you can see the pictures already!

Christening

I promised John, the godfather, that I would put up a few pictures from the Christening, so here they are. Ironically, John's in both of them!

Just after mass ended, a nice picture of the priest and the godparents.

Eleanor Grace, her parents, and her godparents.

More discoveries

Ellie is really discovering her hands. She is constantly sticking them in her mouth. Something tells me this will be a really bad thing later on when she is crawling around and picking things up and putting them in her mouth. It made it a little bit hard to take her latest portrait photos though.

We think she's practicing for the Christening.

Taking on the Grinch

Since the Grinch was on TV last night (at least in our house), Ellie does her impression of Cindy-Lou Who.

Ellie sees Big Air Dogs!

And no, Max wasn't one of them. He's a big wimp when it comes to the water. The Super Retriever Series was nearby for their Great Outdoor games qualifying event. World Record holder Little Morgan won the event, which you can catch on ESPN in January sometime. It was a bit chilly that day, but Ellie was nice and bundled up.
