Ellie

Our little girl is growing up so fast! Ellie has started eating solid foods, namely, rice cereal. And she loves it! These pictures are mainly from the first time she tried it, but lately, she has been literally devouring the stuff. She is even grabbing the spoon and trying to feed herself!

Ellie making a mess, of course. It's been tough for her to figure out how to eat with a different mechanism than sucking, so her tongue keeps trying to suck, which of course ends up pushing the rice back out of her mouth. She is getting better though, and now she knows not to stick her tongue out and just open her mouth wide.
