Some Different Art
Last week's trivia answer was cars. Yep, she rolled the Matchbox cars and trucks through the paint, then rolled them on the paper, and voila! Instant masterpiece.
This week took a little more effort. The inspiration was Hawaiian Kapa Cloth. We didn't strip the bark and make cloth, we just did the stamping part. We used cookie cutters to press a pattern into scratch foam, the painted over the foam, and turned it over and stamped the pattern on the paper. Ellie liked to really paint heavily, so the second stamping was usually more visible.
